Ambient music from Norway

The distant, icy ambient music in shades of pale blues and greys evokes loneliness, time and landscape with a sound that stretches slowly and patiently through the air.

New EP "Spinn" out now on Bandcamp featuring collaborations with Estonian Maarja Nuut, Yui Onodera (Japan) and SHAO (China). Mastering by Porya Hatami.

Live at Yaga

Cold ambient music.
Pjusk is Rune Sagevik and Jostein Dahl Gjelsvik from the west coast of Norway. The sound of Pjusk is inspired by the harsh Norwegian weather and wild landscape. At the center point of the collaboration between the two is an old cabin high up in the mountains. This is where most of the music of Pjusk is made – framed by snowy peaks and the sound of cold streams.

The home-label of Pjusk is 12k - curated by Taylor Deupree.
